Meet the Fremont Art Association
our history
The Fremont Art Association is a unique long-lived institution in Fremont. Since 1959 it has offered local artists, collectors, students and art enthusiasts a venue that combines a showcase storefront gallery and a working studio. As a cooperative enterprise, The Gallery is staffed by member volunteers who bring in new work on a quarterly basis. At the same time, the FAA mounts special exhibits throughout the year. Each monthly meeting offers a demonstration or speaker free of charge.

what we do
THE GALLERY - Exhibits artwork of every kind by the members. Our artists produce varied work, including traditional and modern paintings, fiber art and fashions, ceramics and jewelry.

THE STUDIO - An eclectic mixture of groups and classes are on-going, filling the Studio with an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly critique. All activities and membership are open to the public.

THE SHOP - The diverse creations and broad-ranging work of members is on display and for sale. Whether you are looking for a gift, something for your home, or merely a card, you will find it in the FAA Shop. Proceeds from sales are shared between the artist and the FAA to pay for expenses.
